Endowment
In March 2008, the Wyoming State legislature passed the Wyoming Endowment Challenge to help all county systems build endowments to forever fund our libraries. The Washakie County Library Foundation must raise $98,550 within five years to receive the maximum state match of $295,652.
If counties raise $2.3 million collectively, the state will contribute an additional $100,000 to each foundation.
Because the community has given over $40,000, the state will now match with $120,000, benefiting the Ten Sleep and Worland libraries.
Everyone can help us reach our goal.
Donate once or make a pledge to the Washakie County Library Foundation. Your donation will be matched 3:1 by the State of Wyoming.
All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
The library system works because people like you contribute in so many ways. Thank you for your belief in our community.
