Friends of the Ten Sleep Library

Who are We?

We are a non-profit organization of volunteers who support the library through outreach and fundraising.

Outreach

We sponsor programs of interest to the community:

* Weekly story hours for tots, summer reading program for children
* Adult winter book discussion, author signings, author talks
* We act as a conduit for memorials to the library.
* Our May Day carry-in luncheon to honor our librarians is open to all members of our community.

Fund-raising Events

* Harvest Dinner raffle occurring in October
* Christmas Silent Auction
* Annual Festival of Trees
* Annual Spring Book Sale Funds raised are used for needed library items which are not covered in the county budget.

* Library furniture
* Shelving
* Supplies for weekly story hour (photo)
* Supplies for summer reading program
* Magazine subscriptios
* Enhancement of the Western History collection
* Other book purchases for collection development
